Video Content Writer & Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Video Content Writer who is equally passionate about social media marketing. In this role, you’ll craft engaging video scripts and collaborate with our creative and marketing teams to develop compelling content that captivates audiences and drives conversions across various social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop engaging, story-driven video scripts tailored to different social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
2. Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor content to ensure relevance and innovation.
3. Collaborate with the design and production teams to bring video content to life.
4. Optimize video scripts and content for SEO, engagement, and reach.
5. Strategize and create content calendars for social media campaigns.
6. Monitor the performance of video content using analytics tools and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
7. Stay updated with the latest trends in social media marketing, video storytelling, and consumer behavior.

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in video content writing and social media marketing.
2. Proven experience in crafting engaging scripts and managing content across social media platforms.
3. Fluency in Tamil and English (both written and spoken).
4. Exceptional storytelling and creative writing skills.
5. Strong understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and content best practices.
6. Knowledge of marketing psychology and how to integrate it into content strategies.
7. Experience with analytics tools to measure content performance.
8. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
9. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Bonus Skills:

1. Experience in video editing or animation tools.
2. Familiarity with ad platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
3. Knowledge of influencer marketing strategies.
